Probably my favorite line of marauder miniatures was the metal 6th ed miners. I don't know if I can really explain it. They just look great with the giant two-handed pick and large beards. They are also great fun to paint in general. I had about 12 of these guys I bought when they were current lying around. I managed to find another 15 on ebay, and along with a BfSP command set, I have a 30 dwarf unit of miners painted:

In gaming terms, the plan is to use these 30 + some filler as a 40 man GW warrior unit for Blood in the Sun this June.
