07/2012 Competition Entry - Shooty Dwarf

Hi stumpy siblings!
This is my entry for the July painting competition, the theme is "shooty dwarf". This particular dwarf is from Black Hat Miniatures "Shattered Isles" range which I believe was originally a Crusader model. I needed a replacement model for my thunderers' musician as I had been using the horn blower from my Dragon Company regiment which, co-incidentally, I painted for the December 2010 competition.
So when I bought a few Coat D' Arms paints to try them out, in the same order I picked up the command group that included this model.
After taking these pictures, I'm determined to replace my crappy Citadel yellow which to cover anything has to be glooped on.
Also, when I was about to take pictures of it yesterday, the horn broke off in my hands. I had to quickly glue it back on so I could take photos for this competition. I guess I'll have a go at pinning it afterwards.
Anyway, here are the pictures!
