I recently restarted my blog, and also sold my WOC to make way for the dwarves, my interest was out of "then" boredom.
About a month ago I started looking for a new wargaming project for 2014, and a friend who runs a local game store hobby forge https://www.facebook.com/HobbyForge suggested dwarves, I was quite skeptical then as I knew the range was really dated, and at that time I was partly that Dwarves were getting released the following month.
Anyway to sweeten the deal he gave me 15% off (with some arm twisting) on the remaining stock which consisted of x1 miner box, x1 dwarves warrior box, x1 thunderers, x1 battalion box (the old one with 32 dwarves). I got started with a box of thunderers.
And I love painting them which made me purchase the rest of the stock off the shelve. And got someone to buy my WOC army to fund the remaining new components when it comes out.
So far I have collected -
x30 warriors with great weapons and full command
x30 Thunderers / Querrellers
x1 cannon
x15 warriors with shields & hand weapons and full command
x1 custom BSB
x1 Runepriest
x10 miners with 5 more converted (15) with bits and full command
Got most of my unit color schemes done now - So off to painting!
