Ironskar Hearthguard (Home Made Cast Models - First Batch)

Having cast 50+ of the models in total I have put the first 18 together. This has given me two duplicates of each. I wanted bigger beards anyway so modified each repeat model with a bit of green stuff. Pictures below of the painted first batch. Posted Image

These are awesome, epic even. Especially taking into consideration that they are your first batch.

I love the musician. Bagpipes FTW!. Also the colour scheme is really good. The simple red and blue contrast really does it for me and finally, unlike most I love the horns GW has put on the Dwarf helms. So your mixture of antlers and standard 'tusk' helms look fantastic.

Can't wait to see the whole batch made into one gigantic horde. Great Job.

This is so great I don't even know how to begin. They have character, that's for sure, which to me is the most important thing.

Thanks for feedback, thats really appreciated. This unit of 21 should get fielded this weekend at my local club. Stuck the heads on the next 18 last night and will base them tonight. Basing them is a bit of a chore as I did not put a proper tab on their feet. Then the fun bit of green stuffing bigger beards on a few. Pity my painting isn't any better!
