Finally got round to finishing the last two longbeards, I have tried to use as many miner parts as possible while still bearing some resemblance to Longbeards. As usual please tell me what u think.Alric













I'd also always remove the mold lines in the models before painting, as they stand out like sore thumbs in the finished product, and as your painting skill progresses, you'll be kicking yourself having not done them.
That said, the metals have a nice quality to them and really, from afar, the models look decent. They have enough colour placement to make them look nice and good if they were being viewed on a table-top from a foot or two away, which is how they're going to be viewed in 90% of cases anyway. And of course, you're doing better than most collectors who never even manage to get paint on most of their models! (Myself included...)
