Converted Hammerers
hammerers plastic warriors converted

They all look great (and especially the first one). I like this idea a lot.
Just watch out for those horizontal-hammer poses (e.g. the 2nd figure in the first pic) when it comes to ranking your unit.
Always good to see some converted Hammerers! As you said... way better than the "official" version.
-Stonefur: Thanks!
-Purplebeard: I am well aware of the horizontal hammer there; I actually planned to place those in such poses on the far right.
-Snugg: Thank you too!
Suppose I could ask here as well... Does anyone of you have any of those Dwarf Warrior bodies with capes, to spare? I thought I'd use only them for the Hammerers.
Unfortunately too few come out. I'll agree with you, they're much better looking with capes!

Are you still looking for the caped bodies? I think I have 9 or so but they are built, with GW. Let me know if you are interested, I would sell or trade them
I got an idea when thinking about how I was to paint these hammerers; what if they got "slayer"-hair and -beards? Or would it look better if I reserved that colour for the slayers?
When I see dwarf units with all the same hair colour I feel it looks a bit naff. The only unit it doesn't look out of place on is slayers. That doesn't mean that you can't trow a good amount of bright orange beards into the mix, but I wouldn't do the whole unit that way.
That said, it's your army. If you think it would look good then go for it!
Just my opinion.
Well, what you said there was pretty much frankly what I had in opinion as well. Perhaps I can make one or two "Slayer-Hammerers", that might look pretty funny, don't you think?
Sure! I like an orange beard or two in my units - colours them up a bit.

Awesome!! I have been doing this as well, it really helps cut down on the expense of having a big chunk of hammerers. +1
